At Baylor University, we know that corporations and foundations are changing the world through strategic, mission-driven philanthropy. To do that, you need to invest in endeavors that bring together innovative research, evidence-based models, and real-world application, but too often, university research happens in a vacuum without a clear application to real-world problems. At the same time, many nonprofits and community organizations do not have the time or resources to conduct new research and find innovative solutions. As Baylor’s Foundation Relations team, we unite transformational research and mission-driven foundations.

We aspire to transform lives around the world through ground-breaking research and evidence-based, capacity-building partnerships that address the critical issues of our time and create a foundation for future discoveries. 

At Baylor, research is more than an academic enterprise. Across our 12 nationally recognized academic divisions — through short-term and long-term initiatives alike — Baylor utilizes its institutional capabilities and faculty research expertise for the mutual benefit of the on-campus community and the surrounding world. Following Christ’s example of serving others, we partner with corporations and foundations to support our academic programs, research and creative endeavors that increase human knowledge, explore artistic frontiers, and address real-world concerns.
